NUPE NEWS
The LD Nupes will be busy this summer with internships, sports, community service, and academics. Below are brief insights into what each brother will be doing this summer.
Noa Holloway
This summer, Brother Holloway aims to further his education by taking summer classes while enjoying recreational soccer. He looks forward to expanding his knowledge and skills academically, as well as staying active and having fun on the soccer field.
Chandler Williamson
This summer, Brother Williamson will intern at Cummins Inc. in Columbus, Indiana as a Combustion and Emissions Systems Engineering Intern. He'll test and collect data on diesel engines, while also exploring the city, trying new restaurants, and engaging in various hobbies. A summer of professional growth and exciting experiences awaits!
Justin Buckles
This summer, Brother Buckles will intern at Cummins in Rocky Mount, NC, further his education with summer class, maintain his physical health, and participate in LEAD Kappa as well as the 86th Conclave as a SEP Undergraduate Delegate and LD Chapter Delegate.
Jordan Buckles
Brother Buckles is a Maintenance & Mechanical Engineering Intern at Nutrien Agricultural Solutions - White Springs Agricultural Chemical Inc. in White Springs, Florida. His responsibilities include upkeeping the reliability of the phosphate fertilizer production's mechanical system.
Luke Moseley
Brother Moseley graduated Spring 2023 with his BSBA in Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance. Post graduation, he will be interning with the USGA in Los Angeles, California before starting his full-time position with Brightmark in August, 2023 as a Procurement Specialist.
Justin Harris
Brother Harris is an Economic and Community Development Intern with C.O.R.E Group Consulting Firm operating in rural areas of the South. His responsibilities include fundraising, project management, industry/historical research, and cost analysis.
Josh Smith
Brother Smith graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology on May 6th, 2023 with a B.S. in Music Technology with a Concentration in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Post graduation, he will begin his full-time position starting August, 2023 as a Product Marketing Engineer.
Kaai Wyzard
This summer, Kaai plans to stay on campus to further his studies. In July, he will be participating in LEAD Kappa, a one week all-expense paid leadership development program in Tampa Bay, Florida.
Jamari Brooks
This summer, Brother Brooks plans to spend quality time with his family in Savannah, GA, travel to new places, and stay ahead by taking summer courses at Georgia Southern. He looks forward to balancing fun, learning, and time with loved ones.
This summer, Brother Sigunga plans to enroll in summer classes and begin fulfilling his new role as Region 3 TORCH Chairperson for the Nation Society of Black Engineers (NSBE).

Mason Day
This summer, Brother Day will be interning with UBS within REPM Portfolio Managment Team in Hartford, Connecticut. He will have the oppportunity to see different real estate classes. He will also analyze whether the firm should continue to invest in a sector.
