The Lambda Delta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. was founded February 6, 1982 on the campus of Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA.

The six illustrious founders were Rodney C. Adkins, the late Roland Deering, Gary Evans, Alvin McQuarters, Luther Patton, and Leonard Washington II.

Alumni have careers as Corporate Executives, Architects, College Administrators, Consultants, Doctors, Lawyers, Radio Personalities, Military Officers, Entrepreneurs, Pilots, Bankers, College Professors, NFL Football Players, Artists, Authors, and Politicians.

The rich traditions that were born with the founding of the Lambda Delta Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. continue to this day.
